I was walking through the grocery store the other day and just happened to find myself strolling down the aisle with all of the Valentine’s Day candy…Â I have no idea how I got there…Â Really!
Despite the fact that I love a good box of chocolate, I was drawn to a big bag of Conversation Hearts. In my book, the only thing better — okay, equal too — a big box of chocolates is fresh conversation hearts. They have to be fresh though so that when you bite into them they easily crumble in your mouth and melt away.
I bought my bag of hearts and anxiously tore into it when I got home. I carefully chose one (an orange one that said Love Me) nd popped it into my mouth…Â Total disappointment! They were not fresh, they were hard.
Of course, these sweet treats are still good when they reach this point, but I don’t enjoy them as much and a bag usually ends up going to waste in my household at this point. That is what inspired me to search for some crafts to use them in. I also found plenty of crafts that were simply inspired by these little sweets.
