I took a peek at the calendar a couple days ago and couldn’t believe how fast June is flying by. I felt a moment of panic as I realized that the 4th of July will be here before long and I haven’t even started planning for it yet. I did what I always do when I start feeling stressed out – I took a deep breath and made a to-do list.
I figured the first thing I needed to do when it comes to planning a 4th of July party was to invite people over. This inspired me to search around a little bit to check out patriotic party invitations. Many of these were created to be greeting cards, but can certainly be used as invitations instead.
While there are plenty of homemade 4th of July party invitations online, there are my favorites so far:
Celebrate 4th of July Card at Craftideas.info
American Card at Craftideas.info
I {heart} USA Card at Cricut
Happy 4th of July Card at Card Creations by Beth
July 4th Handmade Card at Dinglefoot’s Scrapbooking
Patriotic Fireworks Card at LaLatty Stamp ‘N Stuff
Squared 4th of July Card at Caroline’s Craftography
4th of July Cupcake Card at Rubber Stamping & Card Making with Yapha
Celebrate 4th of July Card at The Inspiration Party by Maria Palito
Patchwork Patriotic Card at Carol Hartery’s Creations
Vintage Fourth of July Card at Family Crafts
4th of July Flagged Border Card at The Apple Crate
Now I need to get to work making invitations and planning more of the 4th of July party. What should I try to figure out next? Food? Decorations?
